The story behind Vinesmoothie
Vinesmoothie launched in March 2012, built by Clever Imports, the same people behind ChocoVine. It is made in South Holland in the Netherlands, where French Chardonnay meets rich Dutch cream and 100 percent natural fruit flavor. The wine brings acidity and structure; the cream softens it into something closer to a dessert cocktail than a glass of white.
Nothing gets mixed at home. Vinesmoothie is a ready-to-drink cream wine, gluten free, about 14 percent alcohol, and it pours straight from a chilled bottle. Four fruit expressions carry the line: Berry, Peach, Pineapple Coconut, and Strawberry. We have sold cream wines on this shelf for years, and this one earns its place because the Chardonnay still shows through the dairy.
