The story behind Via Stato
Prosecco is the sparkling wine of northeastern Italy, made mostly from the Glera grape in a fresh, fruit-forward style. It is fermented to keep its gentle bubbles and bright green apple and pear notes, so it drinks light and clean rather than toasty or heavy.
We stock Via Stato Prosecco here in Commack in small quantity, one or two bottles at a time. It is the kind of bottle we like to have on hand for a spritz or a quiet toast.
