Tarrica Pinot Noir
Tarrica Pinot Noir: light red, honest price, easy table wine.
The story behind Tarrica
Pinot Noir is the grape that refuses to be easy. Thin skinned, early ripening, fussy about climate, it gives you red cherry, earth, and a light body when handled gently, and it punishes heavy handed winemaking. Tarrica works in that approachable register: a soft, fruit forward Pinot Noir built for the dinner table rather than the cellar, and priced so you can open a bottle on a Tuesday.
We have poured and sold this kind of everyday Pinot for three decades in Commack, and it does a specific job well. It is light enough for salmon and roast chicken, structured enough for pork and mushrooms, and it does not demand a decanter or an occasion. Exact origin and vineyard details are not something we can confirm for Tarrica, so we will not pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is what the glass does.
