Seaside Cellars Whites Other
Coastal whites, picked close to the sea, poured cold.
The story behind Seaside Cellars
Seaside Cellars sources fruit from vineyards that sit close to the ocean, and that is the whole idea. The whites come out of Vinho Verde in northern Portugal, Marlborough on New Zealand's South Island, and the Cotes de Gascogne in France. Grapes are hand-picked, then fermented clean in temperature-controlled stainless steel, never oak, so the primary fruit and mineral edge survive the trip to your glass.
The brand sits in the portfolio of WineForces, a French wine development firm that handles sourcing, logistics and design. The marquee white blends Loureiro, Arinto and Trajadura, and the Vinho Verde gets a light carbonation step before bottling for that faint fizz. The Sauvignon Blanc earned 88 points from Wine Spectator and 87 to 88 from Wine Enthusiast.
