Santa Luz Chardonnay
Chilean Chardonnay, poured by a Commack counter for decades.
The story behind Santa Luz
Santa Luz comes out of Chile, from the family portfolio of Luis Felipe Edwards, the largest 100 percent family owned wine producer in the country. The label carries the name of the founder's youngest daughter, Luz Edwards. The parent winery dates to 1976; the Santa Luz brand followed as the family's value tier, drawing Chardonnay from the Central Valley and cooler sites like Casablanca and Colchagua.
We have poured this Chardonnay across our counter for years because it does one thing honestly: clean, unoaked fruit at a price that lets you keep a magnum cold in the fridge. The Reserva tiers add a little oak and roundness. The Gran Reserva Chardonnay took 91 and 92 points from the Latin American Wine Guide in 2023.
Explore the Santa Luz range
Santa Luz Chardonnay runs from crisp and unoaked to lightly oaked Reserva, all 100 percent Chardonnay, all built for the table rather than the trophy shelf.

Which Santa Luz is right for you?
Santa Luz Chardonnay sits in the value tier, and we price it that way. The 1.5L magnum is $9.99, which works out to roughly five dollars a standard bottle, and that is the number that keeps people coming back for a second one. The 750mL Merlot runs $7.98. Compare that against oaked California Chardonnay at twice the money and the case for a chilled magnum in the door of the fridge makes itself. Buy Santa Luz online and we will have it bagged for curbside pickup in Commack, or delivered locally.
A magnum at $9.99 covers roast chicken and grilled fish without a second thought.
Big format, bright citrus, pours fast for a crowd on the deck.
Soft tannin and dark cherry for burgers, at a price that forgives a second glass.
