Saintsbury Rose
Dry Pinot Noir rose and Sonoma Pinot Noir, stocked in Commack.
The story behind Saintsbury
Pinot Noir rose is a dry pink wine made from the same thin skinned grape behind red Burgundy. The fruit is pressed off the skins early, so you get pale color, bright acidity and red fruit rather than tannin. It drinks crisp and clean, and it holds up better at the table than sweeter pinks.
We stock Saintsbury in Commack in small numbers, a Pinot Noir rose and a Sonoma Pinot Noir, both 750mL. Call ahead at (631) 343-7200 and we will check the shelf for you.
