The story behind Relic
Napa Valley Cabernet is the benchmark style for California red: ripe blackcurrant and plum fruit, firm but polished tannin, and a spine of oak and cedar that shows best with a few years in bottle. Relic Syrah from the same valley runs darker and more savory, with pepper and smoked meat notes over dense fruit.
We stock these in ones and twos here in Commack, so what you see is close to what we have. Call ahead and we will confirm the bottle before you drive over.

Firm tannin and cedar need a grilled ribeye to soften them out.
