Radley & Finch White Blend
South African value wines, poured honestly at our Commack counter.
The story behind Radley & Finch
Radley & Finch is a South African label, and South Africa is one of the few places on earth where Chenin Blanc is the workhorse white grape rather than a curiosity. That matters here. Cape Chenin tends toward green apple, quince and a waxy mid palate, with acidity that holds up to food instead of folding under it. The reds from the same country lean on Pinotage, a crossing of Pinot Noir and Cinsault, and on Cabernet that ripens reliably in the warm inland vineyards.
We have poured these bottles for years because they deliver a real grape and a real place at a price that does not ask you to think too hard. The Radley & Finch wines we stock are modest, dry and dependable, the sort of bottle you keep a few of in the rack for a Tuesday. We cannot tell you the exact estate or the winemaker's name, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is what is in the glass.

Which Radley & Finch is right for you?
Every Radley & Finch bottle we carry is priced at $10.99, and that is the whole story. At that number you are not paying for a wooden box or a score on a shelf talker. You are paying for Chenin Blanc, Pinotage or Cabernet in a full 750mL bottle, which is roughly what a decent six pack of beer costs these days. Buy one to try, buy six for the week, and keep the change for something you will open on a birthday.
Dry, brisk and cheap enough to open without ceremony on a Tuesday.
A chance to taste South Africa's signature red grape without a big spend.
Familiar Cabernet profile at a price that makes a case sensible.
