Portobello Pinot Grigio
Veneto Pinot Grigio, chilled and poured for thirty years here.
The story behind Portobello
Portobello comes out of Schenk Italia, the Vinispa house founded in 1960 and one of Italy's largest wine exporters. The Pinot Grigio grapes grow in the Veneto, on the plains and foothills of the northeast, and the wine carries the delle Venezie designation. Fermentation happens in temperature-controlled stainless steel, no oak, no fuss, which keeps the green apple and grapefruit snap intact.
We have poured this label across our counter for decades because it does one job honestly: dry, light, 12% alcohol, bottled young and meant to be drunk young. Nothing here is aged or dressed up. It is the bottle you keep cold for a Tuesday.
Explore the Portobello range
Portobello keeps a short lineup: the Pinot Grigio in two sizes, plus value reds and a Chardonnay in large format.
