The story behind Pink Libation
Rose is pink wine made when red grape skins stay in contact with the juice only briefly, just long enough to pull color and a little flavor before the juice is drawn off. The result sits between white and red: fresh, lightly fruity, and usually served chilled. Styles run from bone dry to softly sweet, and dry versions from Provence and similar climates tend to show strawberry, citrus, and a clean mineral finish.
