Bourbon is America's native whiskey, and by law it is made from a grain mash of at least 51 percent corn, distilled to no more than 160 proof, and aged in new charred oak barrels. Kentucky straight bourbon like this one tends to drink with a sweet corn backbone, vanilla and caramel from the barrel, and a warm, gently spicy finish.
