The story behind Olarra
Rioja is Spain's best known red wine region, set in the north of the country along the Ebro River. Its reds are built largely on Tempranillo, often blended with Garnacha and other grapes, and the classic style is aged in oak before release. That gives the wine a softer, rounder feel with notes of red and dark fruit, a little spice, and a gentle vanilla or cedar edge.
