Markham Sauvignon Blanc
Napa Sauvignon Blanc, stainless steel, dry and bright since 1977.
The story behind Markham
The stone cellar on Napa's Highway 29 was built in 1874 by Bordeaux immigrant Jean Laurent. Bruce Markham bought the property in 1977 and put his name on it. Head Winemaker Kimberlee Nicholls leads the team today, and the Sauvignon Blanc comes from the estate's Little Cannon Vineyard in the cool Oak Knoll District, balanced with fruit from warmer St. Helena and Calistoga.
Fermentation runs cold in stainless steel, 100 percent or close to it depending on vintage, and the wine stays in tank through aging. No oak, no vanilla, no cover-up. Grapefruit, lime zest, green apple and a wet-stone finish. We have poured this for years because it does not need an explanation.

Which Markham is right for you?
Markham Sauvignon Blanc sits at $10.99 for the 750mL, which is a number we are happy to say out loud. The Chardonnay runs $17.99, the Merlot $19.99, and the Cabernet Sauvignon $29.99. Napa Valley fruit at that first price is the whole argument. Buy Markham Sauvignon Blanc online and pick it up curbside in Commack, or take free local delivery over $250.
