Marina Espumante Sparkling Wine
Spanish sparkling from Alicante, fresh, low in alcohol, easy to love.
The story behind Marina Espumante
Marina Espumante comes out of Alicante province in Spain's Valencian Community, made by Bodegas Bocopa, a cooperative founded in 1987 by a union of local wineries. The brand itself launched in 2007, built on the Charmat method: secondary fermentation in pressurized stainless steel tanks, not in the bottle. That choice keeps the fruit loud and the bubbles quick and tiny, which is exactly the point.
Every bottle carries the D.O. Alicante designation. The whites lean on Moscatel de Alejandría grown near the coast, the Brut blends Chardonnay, Macabeo and Merseguera, and the red and rosé expressions use the native Monastrell grape. The line has collected gold medals at the Challenge International du Vin in Bordeaux, the Frankfurt International Trophy and the Sakura Japan Women's Wine Awards, plus silver at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

Which Marina Espumante is right for you?
Here is the honest math on Marina Espumante. The Brut, the Red and the Silver all sit at $14.99 for a full 750mL, which puts real D.O. Alicante sparkling in the same bracket as a casual weeknight bottle. The Rosado and Silver 187mL splits run $1.99 when we have them, and they move fast. We have kept this lineup on the shelf for years because it delivers above its price, not because it is cheap. Buy Marina Espumante online or grab it off the wall in Commack.
