The story behind Luma
Pinot Noir is a thin skinned red grape that makes lighter, aromatic wines, often with red cherry, cranberry and a soft earthy note. Cool climate versions, like much of what comes from Burgundy and the cooler edges of California and Oregon, lean bright and silky rather than heavy.
Luma is a small label we keep just a bottle or two of here in Commack. We stock the Luma Pinot Noir 750mL and the Luma Cabernet Sauvignon 750mL, both at $12.99, so you can try a lighter red and a fuller one side by side.
