The story behind Lucente
Toscana is a broad designation for red wine from Tuscany, and the wines labeled this way are usually blends built around Sangiovese with international grapes like Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The result tends to be softer and rounder than a pure Sangiovese, with dark cherry, plum and a gentle earthy note, moderate tannin and an easy finish.
We stock Lucente Toscana in two sizes at our Commack shop, a 750mL bottle and a 1.5L magnum. We keep only a bottle or two on hand, so call ahead if you want one held.
