The story behind Intrinsic
Intrinsic is a Washington State label, and Washington reds have a style all their own: ripe dark fruit, a firm but rounded structure, and a freshness that comes from cool nights in the Columbia Valley. Red blends from the region usually lean on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, sometimes with Syrah or Malbec in the mix, which gives a fuller, more layered glass than a single varietal.
