H.deringer Bourbon
A small allocation bourbon, kept behind the counter in Commack.
The story behind H.deringer
Bourbon is America's native whiskey, and by law it is made from a grain mash of at least 51 percent corn, distilled to no more than 160 proof, barreled at no more than 125 proof in new charred oak, and put away at no less than 80 proof. Straight bourbon means at least two years in the barrel with nothing added but water. The corn gives it sweetness, the char gives it vanilla and caramel, and the rye or barley in the mash gives it backbone.
H.deringer Bourbon Whiskey is a label we keep in very small quantity at our Commack store, one or two bottles at a time. We do not publish a story we cannot verify, so we will tell you plainly what the bottle is and let the whiskey speak.

H.deringer cocktails and pairings
Serve this bourbon neat in a tulip glass or over one large cube so the corn sweetness and oak char stay in balance.
