The story behind Golan
Kosher wine is wine made under rabbinic supervision, with the grapes, equipment and cellar handled according to kosher rules from crush to bottle. The result is everyday drinking wine, not a separate style, and much of what reaches us comes from Israel, where warm days give ripe fruit and soft tannin.
We stock Golan in Commack in very small amounts, a Chardonnay and a Cabernet Sauvignon, so what you see is close to what we have. Call ahead and we will check the shelf for you.
