Genesis Cabernet
A small Washington Cabernet allocation, poured plain and priced fair.
The story behind Genesis
Cabernet Sauvignon is the structured red that most of us picture when we say red wine: firm tannin, dark fruit, a little cedar or tobacco in the finish. Washington State does it well, with warm days and cool nights that keep the fruit ripe without going soft, so the wine holds an edge and drinks clean.
We stock Genesis in Commack as a small allocation, one or two bottles at a time, so call ahead before you make the trip. It is honest everyday Cabernet at a plain price, the kind of bottle we keep behind the counter for regulars.

Which Genesis is right for you?
Both Genesis bottles come in at $19.99, which is fair money for a Washington red you can open on a Tuesday. We only carry one or two of each, so stock moves quietly. Give us a call at (631) 343-7200 before you make the drive to Commack and we will tell you exactly what is on the shelf.
Firm tannin stands up to a grilled ribeye without a big price.
Plum and cherry, low grip, easy to pour with pasta or roast chicken.
