Gaston Andre Pere & Fils Chardonnay
White Burgundy Chardonnay, hand picked in Commack, one bottle at a time.
The story behind Gaston Andre Pere & Fils
Chassagne Montrachet is one of the great white wine villages of Burgundy's Cote de Beaune, and its Chardonnays are known for depth without weight: orchard fruit, citrus peel, a chalky mineral spine and a quiet toast from barrel aging. They tend to drink richer than a Chablis and firmer than a warm climate Chardonnay.
We keep the Gaston Andre Pere and Fils Chassagne Montrachet in stock here in Commack, usually just a bottle or two at a time. Ask for it at the counter and we will walk you through what is on the shelf.

Serve it lightly chilled, around 55 degrees, in a wide glass so the fruit and mineral both show.
