Fleischmann's Vodka
American corn vodka since 1868, priced for the everyday pour.
The story behind Fleischmann's
Charles Fleischmann, his brother Maximillian, and distiller James Gaff founded the Fleischmann Company in 1868, making compressed baking yeast and spirits. The first plant went up in Riverside, Ohio in 1870. After Prohibition the operation moved to Owensboro, Kentucky in 1940, and the portfolio passed through Glenmore, United Distillers, and Barton Brands before landing with Sazerac, which owns and produces it today.
Fleischmann's Vodka is a 100 percent corn mashbill run through continuous column stills and filtered multiple times through activated carbon. No aging, no fuss. That corn base makes it naturally gluten free, and the price has kept it on Long Island back bars and home shelves for generations.
