Famiglia Pasqua Sparkling Wine
Veneto sparkling and Amarone from a family name we have poured for years.
The story behind Famiglia Pasqua
Famiglia Pasqua comes out of the Veneto, the northeast Italian region where Prosecco is made from Glera and where Valpolicella's hillsides give us Amarone. That is the useful fact: one house, two very different wines, both tied to place rather than marketing.
Prosecco here is the fresh, dry, gently sparkling style you want cold and soon, not cellared. The Amarone is the opposite discipline, Corvina and friends dried before fermentation, giving a big, dry red with bitter cherry and cocoa. We have carried the Pasqua name long enough to know both sides hold up on the table.

Which Famiglia Pasqua is right for you?
The Prosecco 187mL is $3.99, which makes it the easy single glass before dinner or the one to keep cold in the door. The 750mL is $16.99, a fair price for a dry Glera you can pour for a table without thinking hard. The Amarone Della Valp 750mL is $53.99, a serious red for a Sunday roast. Dry, light and cold, it carries a room before dinner without weighing anyone down.
One person, one pour, no leftover bottle going flat in the fridge.
Big dry red with tannin and bitter cherry that stands up to braised meat.
Famiglia Pasqua cocktails and pairings
Keep the Prosecco cold and pour it with salty, fried or briny things. The Amarone wants slow food and a decanter.
