El Nido Spanish Red
Bold Jumilla red, poured warm from our Commack counter.
The story behind El Nido
Jumilla sits in southeastern Spain, a high, dry plateau where Monastrell grows thick skinned and dark. Blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, wines from this zone tend to run full bodied and generous, with ripe black fruit, a savory edge and firm structure that rewards a little air.
We stock El Nido Clio Jumilla here in Commack in the 750mL, and the 1.5L when it lands. It is a small allocation for us, one or two bottles at a time, so what you see is what we have.

Enough grip and dark fruit to stand up to a grilled ribeye.
Large format keeps a crowd's glasses filled without a second trip.
