E.h. Taylor Bourbon
Buffalo Trace bourbon, bonded at 100 proof, poured in Commack.
The story behind E.h. Taylor
E.H. Taylor, Jr. is a Buffalo Trace name, made in Frankfort, Kentucky, and named for Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr., the 19th century distiller who ran O.F.C., the site that became Buffalo Trace, and who pushed hard for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. The modern E.H. Taylor line arrived in the early 2010s, so this is a revival, not a bottle that survived from his day.
What carries over is the standard: most expressions are Bottled-in-Bond, meaning 100 proof, at least four years in new charred oak, one distillery, one distillation season. That rule is why the bourbon tastes the same pour after pour. We have sold E.H. Taylor through allocation swings for years, and the bottle still earns its shelf.

Which E.h. Taylor is right for you?
E.H. Taylor pricing moves because the whiskey is allocated, and we would rather tell you that plainly than pretend otherwise. Our E.H. Taylor Small Batch 750mL sits at $89.99, and the Rye 100 750mL is listed at the same $89.99 when it lands. The Barrel Proof Uncut 750mL runs $349.99, which reflects what it costs us to keep an uncut bottle on the shelf. Stock on the rye and barrel proof comes and goes, so call the counter at (631) 343-7200 before you drive over.
Wants 100 proof, one distillery, one season, and nothing else in the glass.
Prefers pepper and dry citrus over corn sweetness, and knows the difference.
