The story behind Diamond
Diamond is Armenian brandy, and Armenia has been distilling brandy since 1887, when merchant Nerses Tairyan opened the first Wine and Brandy Factory in Yerevan. The country's native grapes and copper stills, methods borrowed from the French, built the reputation that followed.
Diamond follows that playbook: double distillation from native Armenian grapes, then long maturation in oak. The mid tier sits at 9 years old and the premium selections at 18, well past the minimums most VS and VSOP labels settle for. Dozortsev and Sons imports it here.
