Coa De Jima Tequila
Small batch tequila, kept in small numbers in Commack.
The story behind Coa De Jima
Tequila is a spirit distilled from the blue Weber agave plant, and it is made in specific regions of Mexico, most famously around the town of Tequila in Jalisco. Silver, sometimes called blanco, is unaged or barely aged, so the agave comes through clean and bright. Reposado rests in oak for a short stretch, usually a couple of months to under a year, which softens the edges and adds a light golden color.
We stock Coa De Jima in both styles at our Commack shop, one to two bottles at a time. It is a small brand for us, so call ahead if you want to be sure a bottle is on the shelf.

Clean agave flavor holds up in a shaken margarita without hiding the lime.
A short oak rest rounds the edges for sipping neat or over one cube.
