Cincoro Tequila
Five owners, one agave leaf, and a bottle that leans 23 degrees.
The story behind Cincoro
Cincoro started at a dinner in July 2016, when five NBA owners decided the tequila on the table was not good enough. Michael Jordan, Jeanie Buss, Wes Edens, Wyc Grousbeck and Emilia Fazzalari put their names on it, and the brand reached shelves in September 2019. The name is cinco plus oro: five partners, gold standard.
It is made in Jalisco at Destiladora del Valle de Tequila, NOM 1438, from 100% Blue Weber agave drawn from both the highlands and the lowlands. The piñas steam in clay ovens and autoclaves, distill twice in copper coil pot stills, and the aged expressions rest in ex Tennessee whiskey and American bourbon barrels in an underground cellar.

Three core expressions, all 80 proof, all 100% agave. The barrel work is what separates them, so pick your lane by how much oak you want.
| Expression | Type | Proof / ABV | Tasting notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cincoro Blanco 750mL | Blanco | 80 | Unaged, clean agave, citrus, light pepper |
| Cincoro Reposado 750mL | Reposado | 80 | 8 to 10 months, vanilla, caramel, soft oak |
| Cincoro Anejo 750mL | Anejo | 80 | 20 to 28 months, butterscotch, toasted wood, warm spice |
Which Cincoro is right for you?
Cincoro is priced like what it is: a luxury bottle with real barrel time behind it. Our Blanco runs $79.99, the Reposado $109.99, and the Anejo $149.99 for a 750mL. That is above the national average tier on the first two, so buy it here when you want it in hand today rather than waiting on a warehouse. All three sit at 80 proof, so the difference in the glass is agave and oak, not heat. Call the store for current stock before you drive over.
Twenty plus months in bourbon barrels gives it the weight to drink slow, no ice needed.
Unaged and clean, so lime and orange still taste like lime and orange.
Vanilla and caramel without the Anejo price, good for sipping or a richer cocktail.
Cincoro cocktails and pairings
Serve Cincoro the way the barrel asks: slow, with food that can stand up to vanilla and toasted wood.
