The story behind Choco Vine
Choco Vine comes out of Holland, where Dutch producers built a commercial answer to a very old pairing: red wine and chocolate. The base is French Cabernet Sauvignon, blended with Dutch chocolate and Dutch dairy cream. Holding that cream and wine together without separation takes tightly controlled temperatures, which is the whole trick of the bottle.
The label is honest about what is inside: grape wine, dairy cream, natural and artificial flavors, caramel color. No agave, no barrel program, no pretense. It lands at 14% ABV in a 750mL screw cap bottle, and it has moved through our shelves for years as the dessert pour people come back for.
