The story behind Casa Monte
Casa Monte Chardonnay comes out of Chile's Central Valley, the long warm stretch between the Andes and the coast where the country grows most of its everyday white wine. It is 100% Chardonnay, picked for a fruit forward style: ripe white peach, apricot, green apple, citrus and a little tropical fruit, with a subtle oak presence that leaves a toasty vanilla note on the finish.
This is a value tier export label, not a boutique project, and we say that plainly. There is no verified founder or founding year on record, and no awards worth quoting.
