California Landscape draws its Riesling grapes from Arroyo Seco, the rocky stretch of Monterey County where cool Pacific air funnels down the valley each afternoon. That breeze slows ripening and holds the acidity that keeps this wine from turning flabby. The fruit ferments cool, then the ferment is stopped early, leaving real residual sugar in the bottle.
