The story behind Blood Oath
Blood Oath is the work of John Rempe, a master distiller and blender in Bardstown, Kentucky, and it launched in 2015 under Luxco. The premise is simple and stubborn: each annual release, called a Pact, blends two or three Kentucky straight bourbons of different ages and mash bills, high rye and wheated, then finishes a portion in a cask you would not expect. Caribbean rum, Cognac, Oloroso sherry, Calvados, Sauternes, anejo tequila, red wine.
Every Pact is bottled without chill filtration at 98.6 proof, a nod to human body temperature. Rempe takes a literal oath never to disclose the sourcing behind the liquid, and once a Pact sells out it is never repeated. That is why collectors chase the older numbers and why we field the same calls every year.

Pact 11 sits at $199.99 on our shelf, and the archived Pacts 5 and 6 are listed at $109.99 each, both currently sold out, so call the store and we will tell you what is landing. Allocations are small and they do not come back around. If you want a specific Pact for a gift or a shelf, ask early. We do not hold bottles on rumor.
