Cabernet Sauvignon is the red grape that built Napa Valley's reputation: thick skinned, structured, and built to age. The Napa style tends toward ripe dark fruit, cassis and blackberry, with oak aging adding cedar and vanilla, and firm tannins that soften as the wine breathes. It is a fuller bodied red that rewards a little patience in the glass.
