The story behind Amaro Segesta
Amaro is an Italian category of bittersweet herbal liqueur, built on a base of alcohol, sugar and a blend of botanicals, roots, herbs and citrus peel. Recipes vary widely by producer, and the style ranges from gently sweet to firmly bitter. Amari are traditionally served after a meal as a digestivo, chilled or at room temperature, and they also work well in cocktails.
