The story behind Amador
Double barrel bourbon means the whiskey rested in a second, freshly charred oak barrel after its first aging, which layers in extra vanilla, caramel and toasted wood over the corn sweetness bourbon already carries. Amador Double Barrel is a Kentucky style bourbon finished that way, so it drinks rounder and sweeter than a standard single barrel release.
