Palate
Medium body, rounded and creamy from the oak, but citrus keeps it lively. Apple and pear fill the middle, then a soft vanilla note and gentle acidity keep it from feeling heavy.
Finish
Smooth, medium length, leaving pear and a light buttery note that fades cleanly.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve lightly chilled, around 50 to 55 degrees, in a standard white wine glass. Pull it from the fridge fifteen minutes before pouring so the oak and fruit open up. A splash of cool water is fine if it tastes too rich. Avoid overchilling, which mutes the pear and vanilla.
