Nose
Ripe yellow apple and pear drop out first, then a squeeze of lemon peel, with a soft vanilla and toasted oak note sitting behind the fruit.
Palate
Medium bodied and rounded, almost creamy through the middle. Apple and pear carry the front, citrus lifts the center, and gentle oak and vanilla warm the back edge. Acidity stays modest, so it feels plush rather than sharp.
Finish
Closes clean and medium in length, leaving soft vanilla and a last trace of baked apple.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve it lightly chilled, around 50 to 55 degrees, in a wide bowl glass so the oak and fruit have room to open. Pull it from the fridge fifteen minutes before pouring, since too cold mutes the vanilla and cream. No decanting needed. A splash of room temperature does more for it than ice ever will.
