The story behind Qui
Extra anejo tequila is 100 percent blue Weber agave spirit aged beyond three years, usually in oak that has already held whiskey or wine. That long rest is what separates it from a blanco or reposado: the cooked agave softens into caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and oak, and the spirit drinks closer to a sipping whiskey than a shot.
We stock Qui Extra Anejo Tequila in a single 750mL bottle at our Commack shop. It is a small brand for us, one or two bottles on the shelf, so what you see is what we have.
