Nose
Caramel first, soft and true, then vanilla bean and a light charred oak note. A faint dusting of cinnamon and clove sits behind it. Nothing sharp, nothing hot.
Palate
Medium bodied and round on entry, sweet caramel and vanilla leading. Toasted oak and baking spice move in mid palate, cinnamon leaning warm. Gentle sweetness keeps it easy, with just enough grip to remind you it is whiskey.
Finish
Warm and gently sweet, medium length. Caramel lingers with a soft oak echo and a last flicker of spice.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Neat in a rocks glass at room temperature lets the caramel and vanilla show cleanest. One large cube opens the oak and tames the warmth if you want it softer. A few drops of water brighten the spice. Skip the decanter; pour and let it sit a minute.
