Nose
Bright cherry and red berry lift out of the glass first, then a quiet turn toward forest floor and a dusting of earthy spice.
Palate
Light on its feet, soft through the middle. Tart cherry and raspberry lead, a gentle tug of acidity keeps it fresh, and fine tannins barely register. A savory spice note sits underneath.
Finish
Smooth and easy, fading cleanly with a last echo of red fruit and soft earth. Not long, but pleasant.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve it cool, around 55 to 60 degrees, which is a touch cooler than most people pour a red. A standard Burgundy bowl works well and lets the aromas open. No decanting needed.
