Description
Cascahuin Reposado is an authentic expression of the Tequila Valley, crafted by the Rosales family at NOM-1123 in El Arenal, Jalisco. Produced exclusively from 100 % mature Blue Weber agaves harvested in the lowlands, the spirit is slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens, milled on a roller mill, and naturally fermented with ambient yeast before being twice distilled in copper pot stills. The rested tequila then spends approximately eight months in exhausted American white-oak barrels, just long enough to round edges and add golden color while preserving pure agave character.
Lift the cork and you’re greeted by an inviting bouquet of cooked agave, warm vanilla, toasted coconut, and baking spices layered over subtle mineral earth. On the palate the mouthfeel is silky, unveiling sweet agave nectar, roasted pineapple, citrus zest, clove, and a gentle peppery kick. Oak influence remains discreet, framing the core rather than masking it, and the finish is long, dry, and slightly herbal, encouraging the next sip.
At 80 proof, Cascahuin Reposado is versatile: enjoy neat in your favorite sipping glass, on a large cube, or elevate classic cocktails such as a premium Margarita or Rosita. Pair it with grilled seafood, pork carnitas, or dark chocolate sprinkled with sea salt.
