Nose
Ripe pear and baked apple lead, with a seam of soft vanilla and a faint honeyed malt sweetness. A little air brings out orange peel and a whisper of clove.
Palate
Round and silky, fuller than the standard 12. Orchard fruit up front, then honeyed malt and vanilla, finishing with a gentle baking spice that keeps it from feeling sweet.
Finish
Medium to long, warm and clean. The spice lingers softly, with a last trace of pear and malt.
How to serve and what to pour it with
