Nose
Honey first, then warm vanilla and a soft sherry sweetness. Dried apricot and raisin sit underneath, with a faint toasted oak and a whisper of clove.
Palate
Silky and rounded, medium bodied. Honeyed malt leads, vanilla and toffee follow, then dried fruit and a gentle baking spice. Sherry wood adds sweetness without cloying. Low heat for the proof, easy texture.
Finish
Soft and lingering. Warm honey and dried fruit fade slowly, with a light oak and spice tingle at the end.
How to serve and what to pour it with
