Nose
Cardamom pods cracked open, fresh black pepper, a dusty cumin edge, then clean juniper and a faint lemon peel note underneath.
Palate
Full and oily for a London Dry. Cardamom and coriander hit first, black pepper builds through the middle, juniper holds the center, ginger and citrus flicker at the edges. Warm, dry, spicy.
Finish
Long and peppery, with cardamom lingering and a soft citrus peel fade. Warmth stays on the tongue.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve well chilled, in a copa or highball glass over a big clear ice cube. Tonic works, but use a neutral one so the spice stays forward. For a martini, stir it cold and go light on vermouth, or the cardamom gets buried. A lemon twist, not lime, keeps the pepper clean.
