Palate
Medium bodied and rounded, sweet caramel and vanilla coat the tongue before toasted oak and baking spice take over. Gentle warmth without bite, soft tannins from the barrel.
Finish
Lingers with a gentle char and fading sweetness, medium length, clean and warm.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Neat in a rocks glass at room temperature, or over one large cube if you want it a touch cooler. A splash of water opens the caramel. Let it sit a minute after pouring to release the oak. Works well in an old fashioned or whiskey sour.
